1. “And he entreated Abram well for her sake…”

a. [And he] entreated…well [Strong: 3190 yâṭab, yaw-tab'; a primitive root; to be (causative) make well, literally (sound, beautiful) or figuratively (happy, successful, right):—be accepted, amend, use aright, benefit, be (make) better, seem best, make cheerful, be comely, be content, diligent(-ly), dress, earnestly, find favour, give, be glad, do (be, make) good(-ness), be (make) merry, please ( well), shew more (kindness), skilfully, × very small, surely, make sweet, thoroughly, tire, trim, very, be (can, deal, entreat, go, have) well (said, seen).]

b. Abram [Strong: 87 ʼAbrâm, av-rawm'; contracted from H48; high father; Abram, the original name of Abraham:—Abram.]

c. [for] her sake [Strong: 5668 ʻâbûwr, aw-boor'; or עָבֻר ʻâbur; passive participle of H5674; properly, crossed, i.e. (abstractly) transit; used only adverbially, on account of, in order that:—because of, for (...'s sake), (intent) that, to.]

2. “…and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels.”

a. [and he] had [Strong: 1961 hâyâh, haw-yaw; a primitive root (compare H1933); to exist, i.e. be or become, come to pass (always emphatic, and not a mere copula or auxiliary):—beacon, × altogether, be(-come), accomplished, committed, like), break, cause, come (to pass), do, faint, fall, follow, happen, × have, last, pertain, quit (one-) self, require, × use.]

b. sheep [Strong: 6629 tsôʼn, tsone; or צאוֹן tsʼôwn; (Psalm 144:13), from an unused root meaning to migrate; a collective name for a flock (of sheep or goats); also figuratively (of men):—(small) cattle, flock (+ -s), lamb (+ -s), sheep(-cote, -fold, -shearer, -herds).

c. [and]  oxen [Strong: 1241 bâqâr, baw-kawr'; from H1239; a beeve or an animal of the ox family of either gender (as used for plowing); collectively, a herd:—beeve, bull (+ -ock), + calf, + cow, great (cattle), + heifer, herd, kine, ox.]

d. he asses [Strong: 2543 chămôwr, kham-ore'; or (shortened) חֲמֹר chămôr; from H2560; a male ass (from its dun red):—(he) ass.]

e. [and] menservants [Strong: 5650 ʻebed, eh'-bed; from H5647; a servant:—× bondage, bondman, (bond-) servant, (man-) servant.]

f. [and] maidservants [Strong: 8198 shiphchâh, shif-khaw'; feminine from an unused root meaning to spread out (as a family; see H4940); a female slave (as a member of the household):—(bond-, hand-) maid(-en, -servant), wench, bondwoman, womanservant.]

1). It is generally accepted that one of the maidservants was Hagar.

a). Genesis 16:1 Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.

f. [and] she asses [Strong: 860 ʼâthôwn, aw-thone'; probably from the same as H386 (in the sense of patience); a female donkey (from its docility):—(she) ass.]

g. [and] camels [Strong: 1581  gâmâl, gaw-mawl'; apparently from H1580 (in the sense of labor or burden-bearing); a camel:—camel.

1). It is interesting to note that in going down to Egypt out of God’s will, Abram acquired more wealth but also acquired Hagar, whose union with Abram produced Ishmael, which over three thousand years later will help produce Armageddon.
