1). Gordon Lindsay: The Life and Teachings of Christ: The giving of the Great Commission appears to have occurred on the memorable occasion of Christ’s meeting with the Five Hundred on a mountain in Galilee. Its importance is indicated by the fact that reference had been made to this event several times before it took place.
2). The Apostle Paul reemphasized Christ’s words in the Epistle of the Ephesians. The power and authority was given to Christ and to us who are in Christ.
