T.] [Additional variants: tē, hoi, oi, tēn, ta, tēs, tois, tais, tō, tōn, tou, hé, Hē, hē, hai, tas.]

h. and [Strong: 2532 kaí, kahee; apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words:—and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.]

1). Perry Stone: There can only be one meaning to the story of the two working in the field and two grinding, when one is taken and the other is left. Those taken have been removed with Christ’s coming and those remaining were left behind. This interpretation is clear when noting the goodman of the house witnessed his house divided, as he remained on earth and others in his house were taken (Matthew 24:43). The warning in verse 44 is to be ready, for you don’t know the time of Christ’s coming, refers to the people in Noah’s day, who never knew the exact day of the flood would come and were therefore unprepared (Matthew 24:38, 39).

2). Dake: Then, at the second advent, not at the rupture (Matthew 24:29-31; 25:31-46). Taken like the flood--took them all away or destroyed them (Matthew 24:39). Did the flood rapture or destroy the people that it took away? So the second advent will not rapture but destroy many at the battle of Armageddon.
