1). This prophetic word spoken to David by the Prophet Nathen is the same one found in 1 Chronicles 17.

a). 1 Chronicles 17:11-15 And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom.

17:12 He shall build me an house, and I will stablish his throne for ever.

17:13 I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee:

17:14 But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore.

17:15 According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.

b). 2 Samuel 7:12-17 And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.

7:13 He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.

7:14 I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:

7:15 But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee.

7:16 And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.

7:17 According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.

2). The part of the above prophecies that spoke of the Messiah were repeated to Mary from the angel Gabriel immediately before her conception by the Holy Ghost.

a). Luke 1:26-33  And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,

1:27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.

1:28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

1:29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

1:30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

1:31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.

1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

1:33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
