d. Septuagint: But whereas ye have trusted in lying words, whereby ye shall not be profited;

e. Stone Edition Torah/Prophets/Writings: Behold, you trust the false statements that are of no use.

1. Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.

a.  Behold [Strong: 2009 hinneh hin-nay' prolongation for 2005; lo!:--behold, lo, see.]

b. ye [Strong: 859 'attah at-taw' or (shortened); aatta {at-taw'}; or wath {ath}; feminine (irregular) sometimes nattiy {at-tee'}; plural masculine attem {at- tem'}; feminine atten {at-ten'}; or oattenah {at-tay'naw}; or fattennah {at-tane'-naw}; a primitive pronoun of the second person; thou and thee, or (plural) ye and you:--thee, thou, ye, you.]

h. profit [Strong: 3276 yâʻal yaw-al'; a primitive root; properly, to ascend; figuratively, to be valuable (objectively; useful, subjectively; benefited):—× at all, set forward, can do good, (be, have) profit, (able).].

1). Almost the same thing is said in Jonah.

a). Jonah 2:8 They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.

2). The lying vanities and lying words that cannot profit in this case are the words concerning sexual orientation. The churches and individuals that are affirming homosexual orientation, transgender mythology, all the sexual minority garbage are trusting in lying words that cannot profit. As Jonah declares those who observe these lying vanities are forsaking their own mercy. They are forsaking the mery that God wants to give them to be delivered from their ungodly behavior.
