Joshua 2:16


And she said unto them, Get you to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you; and hide yourselves there three days, until the pursuers be returned: and afterward may ye go your way.

1). Rahab was doing everything she could to guarantee the safety of the spies. From the wording of Joshua 2:7 it appears she pointed the king’s men in the eastern direction toward the Jordan River and steered the spies to the west toward the mountains.

2). To make sure, she told them to hide out in the mountain for three days.
