1 Chronicles 15:18

And with them their brethren of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obededom, and Jeiel, the porters.

a. NLT: The following men were chosen as their assistants: Zechariah, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, and the gatekeepers—Obed-edom and Jeiel.

b. NIV: and with them their relatives next in rank: Zechariah, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom and Jeiel, the gatekeepers.

a. And with them [Strong: 5973 * `im eem from 6004; adverb or preposition, with (i.e. in conjunction with), in varied applications; specifically, equally with; often with prepositional prefix (and then usually unrepresented in English):--accompanying, against, and, as (X long as), before, beside, by (reason of), for all, from (among, between), in, like, more than, of, (un-)to, with(-al).]

b. their brethren [Strong: 251 * 'ach awkh a primitive word; a brother (used in the widest sense of literal relationship and metaphorical affinity or resemblance (like 1)):--another, brother(-ly); kindred, like, other.]

c. of the second [Strong: 4932 * mishneh mish-neh' from 8138; properly, a repetition, i.e. a duplicate (copy of a document), or a double (in amount); by implication, a second (in order, rank, age, quality or location):--college, copy, double, fatlings, next, second (order), twice as much.]

c. and Jaaziel [Strong: 3268 * Ya`aziy'el yah-az-ee-ale' from 3267 and 410; emboldened of God; Jaaziel, an Israelite:--Jaaziel.]

d. and Shemiramoth [Strong: 8070 * Shmiyramowth shem-ee-raw-moth' or Shmariymowth {shem-aw-ree- moth'}; probably from 8034 and plural of 7413; name of heights; Shemiramoth, the name of two Israelites:--Shemiramoth.]

e. and Jehiel [Strong: 3171 * Ychiy'el yekh-ee-ale' or (2 Chron. 29:14) Ychavrel {yekh-av-ale'}; from 2421 and 410; God will live; Jechiel (or Jechavel), the name of eight Israelites:--Jehiel.]

f. and Unni [Strong: 6042 * `Unniy oon-nee' from 6031; afflicted; Unni, the name of two Israelites:--Unni.]

g. Eliab [Strong: 446 * 'Eliy'ab el-ee-awb' from 410 and 1; God of (his) father; Eliab, the name of six Israelites:--Eliab.]

h. and Benaiah [Strong: 1141 * Bnayah ben-aw-yaw' or (prolonged) Bnayahuw {ben-aw-yaw'-hoo}; from 1129 and 3050; Jah has built; Benajah, the name of twelve Israelites:-- Benaiah.]

3. “…and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obededom, and Jeiel, the porters.”

a. and Maaseiah [Strong: 4641 * Ma`aseyah mah-as-ay-yaw' or Maaseyahuw {mah-as-ay-yaw'-hoo}; from 4639 and 3050; work of Jah; Maasejah, the name of sixteen Israelites:--Maaseiah.]
