And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof.

1. “And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof.”

1). During the early years of my relationship with God I was led to believe that if I missed my tithe I had to add a 20% penalty to it when I paid it. But that is not what this verse means.
