 Exodus 13:7

Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee in all thy quarters.

Unleavened bread [Strong: 4682 matstsâh, mats-tsaw'; from H4711 in the sense of greedily devouring for sweetness; properly, sweetness; concretely, sweet (i.e. not soured or bittered with yeast); specifically, an unfermented cake or loaf, or (elliptically) the festival of Passover (because no leaven was then used):—unleaved (bread, cake), without leaven.]

1). The Feast of Unleavened Bread lasted seven days.


a). Exodus 13:6-8 Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to the Lord.

13:7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee in all thy quarters.

13:8 And thou shalt shew thy son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which the Lord did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.


2). The Feast of Unleavened Bread is the second Feast of the Lord mentioned in Leviticus 23. Passover took place on the 14th of Nissan and the Feast of Unleavened Bread took place on the fifteenth of Nissan and lasted 7 days. 


a). Leviticus 23:4-8 These are the feasts of the Lord, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.

23:5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the Lord's passover.

23:6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the Lord: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.

23:7 In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

23:8 But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
