And he had thirty sons, and thirty daughters, whom he sent abroad, and took in thirty daughters from abroad for his sons. And he judged Israel seven years.

1). The insertion of ‘giving his daughters in marriage’ probably is inserted because the exact wording is used in ‘taking in thirty daughters for his sons’. It is inserted in all the modern translations. It is not used in the KJV or the Jewish translation, the Rubin Edition of The Early Prophets: Joshua & Judges, First Edition 2000.
