Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.

1. “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.”

b. [trust in] chariots [Strong: 7393 rekeb, reh'-keb; from H7392; a vehicle; by implication, a team; by extension, cavalry; by analogy a rider, i.e. the upper millstone:—chariot, (upper) millstone, multitude (from the margin), wagon.]

c. [and] some [Strong: 428 ʼêl-leh, ale'-leh; prolonged from H411; these or those:—an-(the) other; one sort, so, some, such, them, these (same), they, this, those, thus, which, who(-m).]
