f. Stone Edition Torah/Prophets/Writings:

1. “And they blessed Rebekah, and said unto her, Thou art our sister…”

a. they blessed [1288 * barak] [Strong: a primitive root; to kneel; by implication to bless God (as an act of adoration), and (vice-versa) man (as a benefit); also (by euphemism) to curse (God or the king, as treason):--X abundantly, X altogether, X at all, blaspheme, bless, congratulate, curse, X greatly, X indeed, kneel (down), praise, salute, X still, thank.]

b. Rebekah [7259 * Ribqah] [Strong: from an unused root probably meaning to clog by tying up the fetlock; fettering (by beauty); Ribkah, the wife of Isaac:-- Rebekah.]

c. and said unto her [559 * ‘amar] [Strong: a primitive root; to say (used with great latitude):--answer, appoint, avouch, bid, boast self, call, certify, challenge, charge, + (at the, give) command(-ment), commune, consider, declare, demand, X desire, determine, X expressly, X indeed, X intend, name, X plainly, promise, publish, report, require, say, speak (against, of), X still, X suppose, talk, tell, term, X that is, X think, use (speech), utter, X verily, X yet.]

d. Thou [859 * 'attah; or (shortened); aatta; or wath; feminine (irregular) sometimes nattiy; plural masculine attem; feminine atten; or oattenah; or fattennah] [Strong: a primitive pronoun of the second person; thou and thee, or (plural) ye and you:--thee, thou, ye, you.]

e. art our sister [269 * 'achowth aw-khoth' irregular feminine of 251; a sister (used very widely (like 250), literally and figuratively):--(an-)other, sister, together.]

2. “…be thou the mother of thousands of millions…”

a. be thou [1961 * hayah] [Strong: a primitive root (Compare 1933); to exist, i.e. be or become, come to pass (always emphatic, and not a mere copula or auxiliary):--beacon, X altogether, be(-come), accomplished, committed, like), break, cause, come (to pass), do, faint, fall, + follow, happen, X have, last, pertain, quit (one-)self, require, X use.]

b. of thousands [505 *  'eleph] [Strong: prop, the same as 504; hence (the ox's head being the first letter of the alphabet, and this eventually used as a numeral) a thousand:--thousand.]

c. of millions [7233 * rbabah] [Strong: from 7231; abundance (in number), i.e. (specifically) a myriad (whether definite or indefinite):--many, million, X multiply, ten thousand.]

1). A thousand million is one billion, so “…thousands of millions…” is billions.

3. “…and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate them.”

a. let thy seed [2233 * zera’] [Strong: from 2232; seed; figuratively, fruit, plant, sowing-time, posterity:--X carnally, child, fruitful, seed(-time), sowing- time.]

b. possess [3423 * yarash; or yaresh] [Strong: a primitive root; to occupy (by driving out previous tenants, and possessing in their place); by implication, to seize, to rob, to inherit; also to expel, to impoverish, to ruin:--cast out, consume, destroy, disinherit, dispossess, drive(-ing) out, enjoy, expel, X without fail, (give to, leave for) inherit(-ance, -or) + magistrate, be (make) poor, come to poverty, (give to, make to) possess, get (have) in (take) possession, seize upon, succeed, X utterly.]

c. the gate [8179 * sha`ar] [Strong: from 8176 in its original sense; an opening, i.e. door or gate:--city, door, gate, port (X -er).]

d. of those who hat them [8130 * sane'] [Strong: a primitive root; to hate (personally):--enemy, foe, (be) hate(-ful, -r), odious, X utterly.

1). Rebekah was the granddaughter of Milcah, Abraham’s sister-in-law.

a). Genesis 24:15 And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham’s brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder.

2). Scripturally they are Syrian.

a). Genesis 28:5 And Isaac sent away Jacob: and he went to Padanaram unto Laban, son of Bethuel the Syrian, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob’s and Esau’s mother.

3). In fact, centuries later when God gave the instruction for giving of the firstfruits in Deuteronomy 26; in their confession they were commanded to confess their father was a Syrian.

a). Deuteronomy 26:5 And thou shalt speak and say before the LORD thy God, A Syrian ready to perish was my father, and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a few, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous:

b). In light of the present geo-political landscape between Israel and Sryia, the ancestors of modern day Syria, the children of Abraham’s brother Nahor, have put their descendants under a curse to be in submission to Israel.
