1. “Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven…”

b. are they whose [3739 * hos; including feminine he; and neuter ho] [Strong: probably a primary word (or perhaps a form of the article 3588); the relatively (sometimes demonstrative) pronoun, who, which, what, that:--one, (an-, the) other, some, that, what, which, who(-m, -se), etc.]

c. iniquities [458 * anomia] [Strong: from 459; illegality, i.e. violation of law or (genitive case) wickedness:--iniquity, X transgress(-ion of) the law, unrighteousness.]

d. are forgiven [863 * aphiemi] [Strong: from 575 and hiemi (to send; an intensive form of eimi, to go); to send forth, in various applications (as follow):--cry, forgive, forsake, lay aside, leave, let (alone, be, go, have), omit, put (send) away, remit, suffer, yield up.]

2. and whose sins are covered.

a. and [2532 * kai] [Strong: apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words:--and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.]

b. whose [3739 * hos; including feminine he; and neuter ho] [Strong: probably a primary word (or perhaps a form of the article 3588); the relatively (sometimes demonstrative) pronoun, who, which, what, that:--one, (an-, the) other, some, that, what, which, who(-m, -se), etc.]

c. sins [266 * hamartia] [Strong: from 264; a sin (properly abstract):--offence, sin(-ful).]

d. are covered [1943 * epikalupto] [Strong:  from 1909 and 2572; to conceal, i.e. (figuratively) forgive:--cover.

1). Under the Old Covenant sin was forgiven but only covered. Because of Jesus sacrifice, under the New Covenant, sin is forgiven but removed not just covered.

a). 1 John 3:5   And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
