1 Timothy 2:10

But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

a. ASV: But (which becometh women professing godliness) through good works.
  
b. YLT: But -- which becometh women professing godly piety -- through good works.
d. Amplified Bible Classic: But by doing good deeds (deeds in themselves good and for the good and advantage of those contacted by them), as befits women who profess reverential fear for and devotion to God.
1. “But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.”

a. allá, al-lah'; neuter plural of G243; properly, other things, i.e. (adverbially) contrariwise (in many relations):—and, but (even), howbeit, indeed, nay, nevertheless, no, notwithstanding, save, therefore, yea, yet.]
b. which [Strong: 3739 hós, hos; probably a primary word (or perhaps a form of the article G3588); the relatively (sometimes demonstrative) pronoun, who, which, what, that:—one, (an-, the) other, some, that, what, which, who(-m, -se), etc.]
c. becometh [Strong: 4241 prépō, prep'-o; apparently a primary verb; to tower up (be conspicuous), i.e. (by implication) to be suitable or proper (third person singular present indicative, often used impersonally, it is fit or right):—become, comely.]
d. women [Strong: 1135 gynḗ, goo-nay'; probably from the base of G1096; a woman; specially, a wife:—wife, woman.]
e. professing [Strong: 1861 epangéllō, ep-ang-el'-lo; from G1909 and the base of G32; to announce upon (reflexively), i.e. (by implication) to engage to do something, to assert something respecting oneself:—profess, (make) promise.]
  
f. godliness [Strong: 2317  theosébeia, theh-os-eb'-i-ah; from G2318; devoutness, i.e. piety:—godliness.]
