John 17:10

John 17:10

And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

a. NLT: All who are mine belong to you, and you have given them to me, so they bring me glory.

b. NIV: All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them.

c. YLT: and all mine are Thine, and Thine are mine, and I have been glorified in them;

d. Amplified Bible: All [things that are] Mine are Yours, and all [things that are] Yours belong to Me; and I am glorified in (through) them. [They have done Me honor; in them My glory is achieved.]

e. Worrell Translation: And all Mine are Thine, and Thine are Mine; and I am glorified in them.

1. “And all mine are thine…”

a. and [2532 * kai] [Strong: apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words:--and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.]

b. all [3956 * pas] [Strong:  including all the forms of declension; apparently a primary word; all, any, every, the whole:--all (manner of, means), alway(-s), any (one), X daily, + ever, every (one, way), as many as, + no(-thing), X thoroughly, whatsoever, whole, whosoever.]

c. mine [1699 * emos] [Strong: from the oblique cases of 1473 (1698, 1700, 1691); my:--of me, mine (own), my.]

d. are [2076 * esti] [Strong: third person singular present indicative of 1510; he (she or it) is; also (with neuter plural) they are:--are, be(-long), call, X can(-not), come, consisteth, X dure for a while, + follow, X have, (that) is (to say), make, meaneth, X must needs, + profit, + remaineth, + wrestle.]

e. thine [4674 * sos] [Strong: from 4771; thine:--thine (own), thy (friend).]

1). He is praying for his disciples.

a). John 17:6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.

1). As believers walk in loving obedience to Jesus, He is glorified in us.

a). Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify  your Father which is in heaven.

b). John 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
