John 17:16

John 17:16

They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

a. NLT: They do not belong to this world any more than I do.

b. NIV: They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.

c. YLT: 'Of the world they are not, as I of the world am not;

d. Amplified Bible Classic:  They are not of the world (worldly, belonging to the world), [just] as I am not of the world.

1. “They are not of the world…”

a. they are [1526 * eisi] [Strong: 3d person plural present indicative of 1510; they are:--agree, are, be, dure, X is, were.]
