Romans 5:2

By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

a. NLT: Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.

b. NIV: through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.

c. YLT: through whom also we have the access by the faith into this grace in which we have stood, and we boast on the hope of the glory of God.

d. Amplified Bible Classic: Through Him also we have [our] access (entrance, introduction) by faith into this grace (state of God’s favor) in which we [firmly and safely] stand. And let us rejoice and exult in our hope of experiencing and enjoying the glory of God.

1. “By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand…”

1). The “grace wherein we stand” is our justification that was created by the faith of God in Romans 5:1. We have access into this grace

2. “…and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”
