The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.

1). Christ being crucified between two criminals fulfilled a prophecy in Isaiah.
a). Mark 15:27, 28 And with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on his left.
15:28 And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors.
b). Isaiah 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
2). John 19:18 Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.
3). In Luke's account one of the criminals repents.
a). Luke 23:32, 33 And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.
23:33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.
b). Luke 23:39-43 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
23:40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
23:41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.
