Exodus 13:20-22

And they took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness.

And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:

He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, not the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.

a. During the 1000 year reign of Jesus, every house in Mt. Zion will have the pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night.

1). Isaiah 4:5 “And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shinning of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.”

2). Isaiah 4:5, 6 [NRSV] “Then the LORD will create over the whole site of Mount Zion and over its places of assembly a cloud by day and smoke and the shinning of a flaming fire by night. Indeed over all the glory there will be a canopy.

It will serve as a pavilion, a shade by day from the heat, and a refuge and a shelter from the storm and rain.”
