Acts 15:40

And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.

a. NLT: Paul chose Silas, and as he left, the believers entrusted him to the Lord’s gracious care.

b. NIV: But Paul chose Silas and left, commended by the believers to the grace of the Lord.

c. YLT: And Paul having chosen Silas, went forth, having been given up to the grace of God by the brethren;

d. Amplified Bible Classic: But Paul selected Silas and set out, being commended by the brethren to the grace (the favor and mercy) of the Lord.

e. Worrell Translation: And Paul, having chosen Silas, went forth, being commended by the brethren to the grace of the Lord.

1. “And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.”
