1). Earlier when Mary first saw the resurrected Christ, he told her not to touch him because he had not yet ascended to the Father. He had not yet placed his sinless blood upon the Mercy Seat in heaven.
a). John 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
b). Hebrews 9:12-14 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
9:13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
2). The fact that he allowed these women to hold him by his feet and worship Him reveals that he had already ascended to place his sinless blood upon the Mercy Seat.
