 Isaiah 56:3

Neither let the foreigner, that hath joined himself to Jehovah, speak, saying, Jehovah hath utterly separated me from his people; neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.

1. “Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people…”

2. “...neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.”


a. neither [Strong: 408 ʼal, al; a negative particle (akin to H3808); not (the qualified negation, used as a deprecative); once (Job 24:25) as a noun, nothing:—nay, neither, + never, no, nor, not, nothing (worth), rather than.]


b. [let the] eunuch [Strong: 5631 çârîyç, saw-reece'; or סָרִס çâriç; from an unused root meaning to castrate; a eunuch; by implication, valet (especially of the female apartments), and thus, a minister of state:—chamberlain, eunuch, officer.]


1). Jesus gives i believe the perfect definition of eunuch.


a). Matthew 19:12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.


2). Thayer's Greek Lexicon : STRONGS G2135: properly, a bed-keeper, bed-guard, superintendent of the bedchamber, chamberlain, in the palace of oriental monarchs who support numerous wives; the superintendent of the women's apartment or harem, an office held by eunuchs; hence, an emasculated man, a eunuch: Matthew 19:12b, one naturally incapacitated — either for marriage, Matthew 19:12a; or for begetting children, one who voluntarily abstains from marriage: Matthew 19:12c. 


3). Daniel fits in this and so does Jeremiah.


a). Jeremiah 15:1, 2 The word of the Lord came also unto me, saying,

g. tree [Strong: 6086 ʻêts, ates; from H6095; a tree (from its firmness); hence, wood (plural sticks):— carpenter, gallows, helve, pine, plank, staff, stalk, stick, stock, timber, tree, wood.]
