Genesis 25:26

And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.

a. NLT: Then the other twin was born with his hand grasping Esau’s heel. So they named him Jacob. Isaac was sixty years old when the twins were born.

3. “…and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.”

1). Isaac was sixty years old when they were born. It is this fact that helps in establishing a timeline in Biblical events in the Patriarch’s lives. If Isaac was 60 years old when the twins were born, then Abraham was 160 years old, and lived another 15 years before he died.

a). Romans 4:19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb:

b). Genesis 25:7 And these are the days of the years of Abraham's life which he lived, an hundred threescore and fifteen years.
