Luke 24:22

Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre;

1. “Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished…”

a. Yea [Strong: 235 alla al-lah' neuter plural of 243; properly, other things, i.e. (adverbially) contrariwise (in many relations):--and, but (even), howbeit, indeed, nay, nevertheless, no, notwithstanding, save, therefore, yea, yet.]

b. 2. “…which were early at the sepulchre;”
