Matthew 13:52

Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

1. “Then said he unto them…”

2. “…Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven…”

e. [which is] instructed [Strong: 3100 matheteuo math-ayt-yoo'-o from 3101; intransitively, to become a pupil; transitively, to disciple, i.e. enrol as scholar:--be disciple, instruct, teach.]

i. [of] heaven [Strong: 3772 ouranos oo-ran-os' perhaps from the same as 3735 (through the idea of elevation); the sky; by extension, heaven (as the abode of God); by implication, happiness, power, eternity; specially, the Gospel (Christianity):--air, heaven(-ly), sky.]

    

3. “…is like unto a man that is an householder…”

4. “…which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.”

h. old [Strong: 2830 palaios pal-ah-yos' from 3819; antique, i.e. not recent, worn out:--old.]

1). For years I have felt this verse applies to me, that I have a treasure and I bring things out of it new and old to teach.
