Romans 11:5

Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

a. NLT: It is the same today, for a few of the people of Israel[fn] have remained faithful because of God’s grace—his undeserved kindness in choosing them.

b. NIV: So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.

1. “Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant…”

e. present [Strong: 3568 nun noon a primary particle of present time; "now" (as adverb of date, a transition or emphasis); also as noun or adjective present or immediate:--henceforth, + hereafter, of late, soon, present, this (time).]

f. time [Strong: 2540 kairos kahee-ros' of uncertain affinity; an occasion, i.e. set or proper time:--X always, opportunity, (convenient, due) season, (due, short, while) time, a while.]

g. also [Strong: 2532 kai kahee apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words:--and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.]

2. “...according to the election of grace.”
