Leviticus 1:8
And the priests, Aaron's sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar:

1). As discussed above, the duties that are carried out by each participant in the sacrifice process, whether they be offerer or priest are clearly marked out in the Scriptures in Leviticus. These verses are further proof of those distinctions. In verses 7 and 8 the priests are the ones doing all the duties.
