2 Samuel 6:15

So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.

a. NLT: So David and all the people of Israel brought up the Ark of the LORDwith shouts of joy and the blowing of rams’ horns.

b. NIV: while he and all Israel were bringing up the ark of the LORD with shouts and the sound of trumpets.

1). The Ark was being brought up not only with the shophar but with other instruments as well.

a). 1 Chronicles 15:28 Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, and with sound of the cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, making a noise with psalteries and harps.
