d. Septuagint [In the Septuagint Psalm 119:99 is listed as 118:99] : I have more understanding than all my teachers; for thy testimonies are my meditation.

e. Stone Edition Torah/Prophets/Writings: From all my teachers I grew wise, for Your testimonies are a conversation for me.

1. “I have more understanding than all my teachers…”

a. [I have more] understanding [Strong: 7919  sâkal, saw-kal'; a primitive root; to be (causatively, make or act) circumspect and hence, intelligent:—consider, expert, instruct, prosper, (deal) prudent(-ly), (give) skill(-ful), have good success, teach, (have, make to) understand(-ing), wisdom, (be, behave self, consider, make) wise(-ly), guide wittingly.]

b. [than] all [Strong: 3605 kol kole or (Jer. 33:8) kowl {kole}; from 3634; properly, the whole; hence, all, any or every (in the singular only, but often in a plural sense):--(in) all (manner, (ye)), altogether, any (manner), enough, every (one, place, thing), howsoever, as many as, (no-)thing, ought, whatsoever, (the) whole, whoso(-ever).]

c. [my] teachers [Strong: 3925 lâmad, law-mad'; a primitive root; properly, to goad, i.e. (by implication) to teach (the rod being an Oriental incentive):—(un-) accustomed, × diligently, expert, instruct, learn, skilful, teach(-er, -ing).]

2. “...for thy testimonies are my meditation.”

a. for [Strong: 3588 kiy kee a primitive particle (the full form of the prepositional prefix) indicating causal relations of all kinds, antecedent or consequent; (by implication) very widely used as a relative conjunction or adverb (as below); often largely modified by other particles annexed:--and, + (forasmuch, inasmuch, where-)as, assured(-ly), + but, certainly, doubtless, + else, even, + except, for, how, (because, in, so, than) that, + nevertheless, now, rightly, seeing, since, surely, then, therefore, + (al- )though, + till, truly, + until, when, whether, while, whom, yea, yet.]

b. [thy] testimonies [Strong: 5715 ʻêdûwth, ay-dooth'; feminine of H5707; testimony:—testimony, witness.]

c. [are my] meditation [Strong: 7881 sîychâh, see-khaw'; feminine of H7879; reflection; by extension, devotion:—meditation, prayer.]

1). There are a couple of examples of this verse in the ministry of Christ Jesus.

a). Luke 2:46, 47 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
3:47 And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.

b). Mark 6:2 And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?
