So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:

1. “So that ye come behind in no gift…”

a. [So] that [Strong: 5620. hoste hoce'-teh from 5613 and 5037; so too, i.e. thus therefore (in various relations of consecution, as follow):--(insomuch) as, so that (then), (insomuch) that, therefore, to, wherefore.]

c. come behind [Strong: 5303. husterema hoos-ter'-ay-mah from 5302; a deficit; specially, poverty:--that which is behind, (that which was) lack(-ing), penury, want.]

1). It is the will of God that all of His children access and benefit from all the spiritual and physical blessings he has given us through Christ Jesus, and he does not desire any of us to come up short in any of them.
