And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

1. “And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath…”

a. And [Strong: 2532. kai kahee apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words:--and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.]

b. [I will] shew [Strong: 1325. didomi did'-o-mee a prolonged form of a primary verb (which is used as an alternative in most of the tenses); to give (used in a very wide application, properly, or by implication, literally or figuratively; greatly modified by the connection):--adventure, bestow, bring forth, commit, deliver (up), give, grant, hinder, make, minister, number, offer, have power, put, receive, set, shew, smite (+ with the hand), strike (+ with the palm of the hand), suffer, take, utter, yield.]

c. wonders [Strong: 5059. teras ter'-as of uncertain affinity; a prodigy or omen:--wonder.]

g. above [Strong: 507. ano an'-o adverb from 473; upward or on the top:--above, brim, high, up.]

i. signs [Strong: 4592. semeion say-mi'-on neuter of a presumed derivative of the base of 4591; an indication, especially ceremonially or supernaturally:--miracle, sign, token, wonder.]

2. “...blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:”

a. blood [Strong: 129. haima hah'-ee-mah of uncertain derivation; blood, literally (of men or animals), figuratively (the juice of grapes) or specially (the atoning blood of Christ); by implication, bloodshed, also kindred:--blood.]
