Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God giveth you to possess it.

1). The LORD has been saying this for over 400 years to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Moses. The first generation that came out from Egypt failed to obey the word of the LORD. But this generation will fulfill what was promised to the first generation.
