Genesis 1:6-8

Genesis 1:6-8

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

a. This was the creation of the water canopy that was above the earth. This water was taken off the face of the earth that was put there by God at the judgment surrounding Lucifer’s rebellion. This flood was not the flood of Noah, rather the Luciferic flood.

1). 2 Peter 3:5, 6 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

b. At the Flood of Noah this was one of the sources of water that covered the earth. The other was the water that was in the earth.

1). Genesis 7:11, 12 “In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.”
