1 Timothy 1:12

1 Timothy 1:12

And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

a. ASV: I thank him that enabled me, even Christ Jesus our Lord, for that he counted me faithful, appointing me to his service;

  

b. YLT: And I give thanks to him who enabled me -- Christ Jesus our Lord -- that he did reckon me stedfast, having put me to the ministration,

1. “And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me…”

a. g. Lord [Strong: 2962  kýrios, koo'-ree-os; from κῦρος kŷros (supremacy); supreme in authority, i.e. (as noun) controller; by implication, Master (as a respectful title):—God, Lord, master, Sir.]

h. who [Strong: 3588 ho, ho; the definite article; the (sometimes to be supplied, at others omitted, in English idiom):—the, this, that, one, he, she, it, etc.]
