Isaiah 35:2
It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.
a. ASV: It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing; the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon: they shall see the glory of Jehovah, the excellency of our God.

1. “It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing…”
a. 1). The Hebrew word for “blossom” is used twice in this sentence fragment. In jewish culture when something was said twice they wanted to emphasize what was said. Hence “Verily, verily I say to you” (John 1:51).
