1). WOC 10/20/12 God’s talking here about an abundant, blessed life. God plans for His people to “go out with joy, and be led forth with peace.” This is a provision under the old covenant, and today we live under a new and even better covenant established on better promises. Folks say, “Well, that’s just a blessing for the Jews.” But the Bible says we are grafted in through the blood of Jesus. …they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. Galatians 3:7 If ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:29 Some folks say, “Well, we’re redeemed from the Old Testament.” No, we’re just redeemed from the curse of the law. (Gal. 3:13.) We still have a right to all the old covenant blessings. And on top of that, we have the new birth, the infilling of the Holy Ghost, and the life, nature, and ability of God living on the inside of us. How do these blessings operate in our lives? They operate as you believe and speak God’s Word, which cannot return to Him void. Think about that. When you speak God’s Word, it must come to pass and accomplish what it’s sent to do because God’s words wouldn’t dare return to Him empty and void!
