And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.

1). In the previous chapter after Jehoshaphat returned from joining in an alliance with Ahab, which resulted in Ahab’s death, when Jehoshaphat returned, he was rebuked by Jehu the son of Hanani for doing so.
