There went with us also certain of the disciples of Caesarea, and brought with them one Mnason of Cyprus, an old disciple, with whom we should lodge.

1. “There went with us also certain of the disciples of Caesarea…”

a. [Strong: 1161. de deh a primary particle (adversative or continuative); but, and, etc.:--also, and, but, moreover, now (often unexpressed in English).]

b. [There] went [Strong: 4905. sunerchomai soon-er'-khom-ahee from 4862 and 2064; to convene, depart in company with, associate with, or (specially), cohabit (conjugally):--accompany, assemble (with), come (together), come (company, go) with, resort.]

c. with [Strong: 4862. sun soon a primary preposition denoting union; with or together (but much closer than 3326 or 3844), i.e. by association, companionship, process, resemblance, possession, instrumentality, addition, etc.:--beside, with. In composition it has similar applications, including completeness.]

d. us [Strong: 2254. hemin hay-meen' dative case plural of 1473; to (or for, with, by) us:--our, (for) us, we.]

e. also [Strong: 2532. kai kahee apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words:--and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.]

i. Caesarea [Strong: 2542. Kaisereia kahee-sar'-i-a from 2541; Caesaria, the name of two places in Palestine:--Caesarea.]

2.  “...and brought with them one Mnason of Cyprus, an old disciple, with whom we should lodge.”

a. [and] brought [Strong: 71. ago ag'-o a primary verb; properly, to lead; by implication, to bring, drive, (reflexively) go, (specially) pass (time), or (figuratively) induce:--be, bring (forth), carry, (let) go, keep, lead away, be open.]

b. with [them] [Strong: 3844. para par-ah' a primary preposition; properly, near; i.e. (with genitive case) from beside (literally or figuratively), (with dative case) at (or in) the vicinity of (objectively or subjectively), (with accusative case) to the proximity with (local (especially beyond or opposed to) or causal (on account of):--above, against, among, at, before, by, contrary to, X friend, from, + give (such things as they), + that (she) had, X his, in, more than, nigh unto, (out) of, past, save, side...by, in the sight of, than, (there-)fore, with. In compounds it retains the same variety of application.]

c. one [Strong: 5100. tis tis an enclitic indefinite pronoun; some or any person or object:--a (kind of), any (man, thing, thing at all), certain (thing), divers, he (every) man, one (X thing), ought, + partly, some (man, -body, - thing, -what), (+ that no-)thing, what(-soever), X wherewith, whom(-soever), whose(-soever).]

d. Mnason [Strong: 3416. Mnason mnah'-sohn of uncertain origin; Mnason, a Christian:--Mnason.]

e. [of] Cyprus [Strong: 2953. Kuprios koo'-pree-os from 2954; a Cyprian (Cypriot), i.e. inhabitant of Cyprus:--of Cyprus.]

f. [an] old [Strong: 744. archaios ar-khah'-yos from 746; original or primeval:--(them of) old (time).]

g. disciple [Strong: 3101. mathetes math-ay-tes' from 3129; a learner, i.e. pupil:--disciple.]

h. [with] whom [Strong: 3739. hos hos, including feminine he hay, and neuter ho ho probably a primary word (or perhaps a form of the article 3588); the relatively (sometimes demonstrative) pronoun, who, which, what, that:--one, (an-, the) other, some, that, what, which, who(-m, -se), etc.]

i. [we should] lodge [Strong: 3579. xenizo xen-id'-zo from 3581; to be a host (passively, a guest); by implication, be (make, appear) strange:--entertain, lodge, (think it) strange.]

1). The comparative translations show that Mnason could have been on of the original 120 in the upper room.
