But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

1. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness…”

b. seek [ye] [Strong: 2212. zeteo dzay-teh'-o of uncertain affinity; to seek (literally or figuratively); specially, (by Hebraism) to worship (God), or (in a bad sense) to plot (against life):--be (go) about, desire, endeavour, enquire (for), require, (X will) seek (after, for, means).

c. first [Strong: 4412. proton pro'-ton neuter of 4413 as adverb (with or without 3588); firstly (in time, place, order, or importance):--before, at the beginning, chiefly (at, at the) first (of all).]
