1 Corinthians 6:10

Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

1. “Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners…”

2. “…shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

a. shall inherit (Made up of two Greek words) [Strong: 3756. ou oo, also (before a vowel) ouk ook, and (before an aspirate) ouch ookh a primary word; the absolute negative (compare 3361) adverb; no or not:--+ long, nay, neither, never, no (X man), none, (can-)not, + nothing, + special, un(-worthy), when, + without, + yet but.] 

b. [Strong: 2816. kleronomeo klay-ron-om-eh'-o from 2818; to be an heir to (literally or figuratively):--be heir, (obtain by) inherit(-ance)] [Zodhiates: To be an heir, to inherit, obtain for an inheritance…]

1). It clearly means “shall not inherit”. This is not talking about just going to heaven, although it does mean that. This is talking about receiving our inheritance by faith here on earth; receiving the promises. I believe that some Christians do not receive the promises that are clearly in our inheritance regardless of seemingly praying in faith because they are walking in the flesh, in disobedience.

c. [the] kingdom [Strong: 932. basileia bas-il-i'-ah from 935; properly, royalty, i.e. (abstractly) rule, or (concretely) a realm (literally or figuratively):--kingdom, + reign.] 

d. [of] God [Strong 2316. theos theh'-os of uncertain affinity; a deity, especially (with 3588) the supreme Divinity; figuratively, a magistrate; by Hebraism, very:--X exceeding, God, god(-ly, -ward).] 

1). I believe the Scriptures are clear, that if an individual is practicing sin in their lives, they will not only fail to receive the promises of the New Covenant, they will not go to heaven. I believe this is the reason there are so many unanswered prayers in our lives in spite of the fact that God promises these things in the Covenant.
