Leviticus 18:10

The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness.

a. NLT: “Do not have sexual relations with your granddaughter, whether she is your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter, for this would violate yourself.

b. NIV: “ ‘Do not have sexual relations with your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter; that would dishonor you.

c. Amplified Bible: You must not have sexual relations with your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter; their nakedness you shall not uncover, for they are your own flesh.

1. “The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter…”

1). This of course is speaking of grandchildren. The incidents that are found are rare and mostly involve grandfathers abusing their granddaughters and grandsons, but there are even rarer incidents of grandmothers abusing their granddaughters and grandsons.

2. “…even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover…”

26 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
27 (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
