Leviticus 18:28

That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.

a. NLT: So do not defile the land and give it a reason to vomit you out, as it will vomit out the people who live there now.

b. NIV: And if you defile the land, it will vomit you out as it vomited out the nations that were before you.

c. Amplified Bible: [Do none of these things] lest the land spew you out when you defile it as it spewed out the nation that was before you.

d. Septuagint:  And lest the land be aggrieved with you in your polluting it, as it was aggrieved with the nations before you.

e. Stone Edition Torah/Writings/Prophets: Let not the land disgorge you far having contaminated it, as it disgorged the nation that was before you.

1. “That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it…”

2. “…as it spued out the nations that were before you.”

b. nations [1471 * gowy][Strong:  a foreign nation; hence, a Gentile; also (figuratively) a troop of animals, or a flight of locusts:--Gentile, heathen, nation, people.]
