And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:

1). Paul knew by other Spirit witnesses that bonds awaited him in Jerusalem.
a). Acts 20:23 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.
2). We must also remember that before Paul ever left Ephesus to go to Jerusalem that his desire was to go to Rome (Acts 19:21). And we know that after Paul was arrested The Lord appeared to him and exhorted him to be of good cheer that he was going to bear witness of the Lord in Rome (Acts 23:11).
