Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:

s. sown [Strong: 4687 speírō, spi'-ro; probably strengthened from G4685 (through the idea of extending); to scatter, i.e. sow (literally or figuratively):—sow(- er), receive seed.]

2. “...and gathering where thou hast not strawed:”

a. and [Strong: 2532 kaí, kahee; apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words:—and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.]

b. gathering [Strong: 4863 synágō, soon-ag'-o; from G4862 and G71; to lead together, i.e. collect or convene; specially, to entertain (hospitably):—+ accompany, assemble (selves, together), bestow, come together, gather (selves together, up, together), lead into, resort, take in.]

c. where [Strong: 3606 hóthen, hoth'-en; from G3739 with the directive enclitic of source; from which place or source or cause (adverb or conjunction):—from thence, (from) whence, where(-by, -fore, -upon).]
