Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

1). Barnes Notes n the Bible:  On the right hand - The right hand is the place of honor, and denotes the situation of those who are honored, or those who are virtuous. See Ecclesiastes 10:2; Ephesians 1:20; Psalm 110:1; Acts 2:25, Acts 2:33. The goats - The wicked. See Ezekiel 34:17. The left - That is, the left hand. This was the place of dishonor, denoting condemnation. See Ecclesiastes 10:2.

a). Isaiah 46:9, 10 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,

46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:  


2). Here at this judgment King Christ Jesus declares that the kingdom was planned before the foundation of the earth. The plan of redemption is older than the earth, so previous to its creation God had not only planned the kingdom but also as he was planning the creation of the earth he was planning the creation of hell inside the earth that would house the devil and his angels as an eternal prison for their rebellion. As they were rejoicing over the creation of the earth God in his omniscience knew that Lucifer would rebel and that one third of the angels would rebel with him. And when they inspired man to kill Christ Jesus the devil and his demons had no idea that by killing Jesus they would fulfil the plan of the eternal sacrifice that would pay the sin problem and redeem humanity.

b). Job 38:4-7 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.

38:5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?

38:6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;

38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
