Acts 14:19
And there came thither certain Jews from
Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and, having stoned Paul, drew
him out of the city, supposing he had been dead.

a. The Jews in Antioch
who expelled him out of their city got together with the Jews from Iconium who
attempted to stone him and came to Lystra. It is possible that they may have
heard of Paul’s success in Lystra, or suspected that after he left their cities
he inevitably would go to Lystra. Whatever the case they came to Lystra.

stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead.”

[Zodhiates: drag.]b. The Jews from Antioch and Iconium convinced the people of Lystra to stone Paul, and thinking he was dead, they drug him out of the city.
