And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country.

 1). Word got to the king that Israelite spies had entered the city. It was observed that the men had gone to Rahab’s house and the king sent men to her to turn them over to them.
