And the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was unto him as one of his sons.

1. “And the Levite was content to dwell with the man…”

b. [was] content [Strong: 2974 ya'al yaw-al' a primitive root (probably rather the same as 2973 through the idea of mental weakness); properly, to yield, especially assent; hence (pos.) to undertake as an act of volition:--assay, begin, be content, please, take upon, X willingly, would.]

c.
