We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,

1. “We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,”

a. We [Strong: 2249. hemeis hay-mice' nominative plural of 1473; we (only used when emphatic):--us, we (ourselves).]

b. [who are] Jews [Strong: 2453. Ioudaios ee-oo-dah'-yos from 2448 (in the sense of 2455 as a country); Judaean, i.e. belonging to Jehudah:--Jew(-ess), of Judaea.]

c. [by] nature [Strong: 5449. phusis foo'-sis from 5453; growth (by germination or expansion), i.e. (by implication) natural production (lineal descent); by extension, a genus or sort; figuratively, native disposition, constitution or usage:--(man-)kind, nature(-al).]

d. and [Strong: 2532. kai kahee apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words:--and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.]

f. sinners [Strong: 268. hamartolos ham-ar-to-los' from 264; sinful, i.e. a sinner:--sinful, sinner.]

h. [of the] Gentiles [Strong: 1484. ethnos eth'-nos probably from 1486; a race (as of the same habit), i.e. a tribe; specially, a foreign (non-Jewish) one (usually, by implication, pagan):--Gentile, heathen, nation, people.]

1). The commentators are not in agreement when this incident occurred. The most favorable have it occurring after the council of Acts 15 and during the time of Acts 15:35.
