 Galatians 4:7

Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

1. “Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son…”


a. Wherefore [Strong: 5620. hoste hoce'-teh from 5613 and 5037; so too, i.e. thus therefore (in various relations of consecution, as follow):--(insomuch) as, so that (then), (insomuch) that, therefore, to, wherefore.]

1). Because of what Christ Jesus did through his death and resurrection and our faith in it we are made heirs of God.


a). Galatians 3:For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
